The baobab, nicknamed "pharmacy tree", is a large sacred African tree whose fruit is called "bouye". The baobab cookie is made traditional way from the pulp of the fruit that surrounds the seeds. It has a slightly acidic and sweet taste.
Our baobab cookies are produced in Guinea by local women producers with the NGO KDF which ensures a fair remuneration for these women.
